Showcase IDX includes a variety of automated message and customizable templates for the automated e-mails and quick responses generated by our system. These can be found in your IDX Control panel, under the Settings tab > EMAIL.

Email Settings
If you have Admin level permissions on your account, in Email Settings, you can customize email settings by adding your signature as well as having automated responses sent to your newly registered leads, saved search email subscriptions and even a quick response message!
Customize Using Dynamic Text
You'll notice the `{{...}}` button just below the subject line of the Lead Sign Up Template, Imported Lead Template, Saved Search Template and Quick Response tabs. This gives you a list of dynamic text that will automatically generate certain text based on which dynamic text field option you choose.
For instance, the `{{lead_first_name}}` at the beginning of the e-mail body will dynamically update with the first name of the lead who is being sent the e-mail, allowing you to create dynamic form letters for your leads to receive.

Sending Tab: Email Signature
In the "Sending" tab you have access to the basic customizations of the automated e-mail system:
- Display Name: the "From" name displayed on automated emails sent to your customers
- Return Address: when a lead replies to one of the three email templates, the following email address will receive that reply
- Email Signature: email signature added to the bottom of the three email templates
Lead Sign Up Template
The "Lead Sign Up Template" is the email that is sent to all new leads who register themselves on your website. While this is customizable, we do provide some great information for your new leads already!

Imported Lead Template
The "Imported Lead Template" is the email sent to new leads that are added via the Create a Lead form. We treat these kinds of leads a little differently, thus they receive a separate template. While this template is customizable, our recommendation is that you use some variation of the default text to be clear to the lead that a new account was created for them.

What does the email look like?
In the email, the lead will see that an account has been created for them and there will be a button that, when clicked, will take the lead to your website to set their secure password. Here's an example of what the email looks like:
If you entered a lead with a phone number, their phone number will be their initial password. If they happen to miss this email or misplace it and don't click "Access your account", they can always use their phone number to get into their account. They can update their password later.
Otherwise, if there is no phone number, the lead could find this email, or do a password reset on the website.
Saved Search: Search Subscriptions
The Saved Search Templates gives you the ability to customize the e-mail that accompanies the saved searches your users subscribe to.
At most, you may consider adding wording such as "Here's your daily listing update!" or "Don't forget to contact me for a showing!" to the template. This text will appear at the top of the search update emails.

Quick Responses Tab
Quick Responses allows you to send automated "quick responses" to users who send you a message or information request through the plugin. These are best kept short and sweet and are good ways of getting the user into the communication flow when you might otherwise be too busy to contact them back immediately.
You can disable this automatic response by simply turning the toggle switch at the top of the tab to the OFF position.
