Showcase IDX includes a variety of automated message and e-mail systems designed to give you the flexibility you need to action your leads appropriately. To help this process, we include a number of customizable templates for the automated e-mails and quick responses generated by our system. These are found in the SETTINGS > EMAIL menu of your admin dashboard:
As you can see, the e-mail settings contain 4 tabs governing the different automated e-mail templates you can customize: Sending (Sent e-mails from the system), Lead Sign Up (New Registration), Saved Search, and Quick Responses. Each of these has a number of different customization and hot-links available to help make Showcase IDX work for your specific business needs.
SENDING
In the "Sending" tab you have access to the basic customizations of the automated e-mail system, including setting up the Display Name and Return Address for automated e-mails, as well as an area to define your E-Mail Signature (which is used in every automated e-mail sent from the team/member).
LEAD SIGN UP TEMPLATE
This is the template for the e-mail that will go out to ALL NEW REGISTERED LEADS.
You'll notice the `{{...}}` button just below the subject line: this gives you a list of DYNAMIC TEXT that will automatically generate certain text based on which dynamic text field option you choose. For instance, the `{{lead_first_name}}` at the beginning of the e-mail body will dynamically update with the first name of the lead who is being sent the e-mail, allowing you to create dynamic form letters for your leads to receive. SAVED SEARCH TEMPLATES
The SAVED SEARCH TEMPLATES acts the exact same as the other templates: click the `{{...}}` to get a list of dynamic text fields, and customize the e-mail that accompanies the saved searches your users subscribe to. Showcase does NOT recommend adding anything into the body of these e-mails, but you are welcome to do so at your leisure.
QUICK RESPONSES
QUICK RESPONSES are a new feature to Showcase IDX 3.0 that allows you to send automated "quick responses" to users who send you a message or information request through the plugin. These are best kept short and sweet and are good ways of getting the user into the communication flow when you might otherwise be too busy to contact them back immediately.
You can disable these automatic responses by simply turning the toggle switch at the top of the tab to the OFF position. Quick Responses also support the Dynamic Text Fields that the other templates use; just click the `{{...}}` button under "Subject".
As usual, when everything looks as you'd like it, simply click the big, blue SAVE CHANGES button and you're all set!
