Cancel My Account

First off, we'd love the opportunity to try to keep your business- however, we understand that sometimes business needs change and you may need to cancel your account.

How Do I Cancel My Account?

All account cancelations must be made by email to help@showcaseidx.com.

Our support team will respond with a request for feedback and the reason for cancelation. You will receive a confirmation that your account has been canceled and that you will not be billed further.

Emailing help@showcaseidx.com is the only way to cancel your account. This proof of cancellation is required for your account to be cancelled. If you try to cancel any other way (such as calling or leaving a voicemail, for example), your account will not be canceled.  You will be directed to email your request in writing to ensure a proper "paper trail" is established and your account will not be cancelled until such proof of cancellation is received.

We kindly request our valued customers to refrain from initiating a credit card dispute in the event of wanting to cancel their account. While we understand that circumstances may arise leading to such decisions, we encourage you to reach out to our customer support team directly for a more efficient and personalized cancellation process. We must receive your cancellation request in writing to help@showcaseidx.com

When Will My Account Terminate?

We will cancel your account on the same day if we can, or the next business day of your request.  You will receive a written confirmation that your account has been canceled and that you will not be billed further.

When Will My Billing End?

On the same day that you receive the written confirmation that your account has been canceled, your billing will end on that day as well.  

Do Your Offer Refunds?

We do not offer refunds.

We do not offer refunds or prorated refunds, therefore should you wish to continue service until the end of your billing cycle, please contact us at that time.

Only if for some reason we stop providing our services to you for a reason that is not laid out in our Terms of Service that you will sign prior to beginning your free trial, you may be eligible for a refund.

Can I Set to Cancel in the Future?

We will cancel your account on the same day if we can, or the next business day of your request, therefore should you wish to continue service until the end of your billing cycle or renewal, please contact us at that time.  We are unable to set your cancellation date in the future.

What If I Don't Pay My Bill?

We reserve the right to cancel accounts for nonpayment. In these circumstances, you will be alerted by email in advance and given a fair warning to get your account out of arrears before being canceled.

If your account is canceled for nonpayment and you choose to reactivate your account, you will be responsible for the past-due charges before your account is reactivated. 

Can I Put My Account on Hold?

We don't have a formal account "hold" or "pause" option as the data feed from your MLS is continuous, as are their pass-thru fees. But please contact help@showcaseidx.com if you have any concerns or considerations as there may be a way to prevent the need to go through MLS approval again if you only need to take your site down for a few weeks. 

Who Can Cancel My Account?

  • Account Admin: An account Admin must either request the cancellation or be CC'd on the request. Please review our User Permissions as an account Member cannot cancel an account without an Admin confirming the request.
  • Direct Bill Partner/Developer: If you work with one of our preferred partners (and do not pay Showcase directly) your developer can/will cancel your account. 
    • If you would like to keep your IDX account to use on your website, you must contact help@showcaseidx.com to discuss further and set up your own billing account

If you have an account with one of our approved website developer partners and cancel your website with them, you still need to cancel directly with Showcase IDX to cancel you IDX account. 

Rejoining/Reactivating Showcase

You can reactivate your account at any time!  Please contact help@showcaseidx.com as different steps may be needed, depending on your situation.  Your billing cycle will begin again at that time for  the current rate for new customers.  You may not be eligible for previous discounts or renewal pricing prior to your account canceling.

 

It is important to note that if your account is cancelled, and you choose to reactivate your account with us in the future, you'll lose out on your current grandfathered pricing and will be subject to whatever the new customer pricing is at that time.
