Trouble Saving Search or Hotsheet

If you're having trouble saving a search or a hotsheet in the agent admin, follow these troubleshooting steps:


  1. Confirm you’ve given both the saved search and hotsheet a unique name. You can’t have two hotsheets and saved searches with the same name but you can have a saved search & hotsheet with the same name
  2. If the error is showing when creating a hotsheet, confirm that you don’t have an unacceptable character (like %, & or +) in the name. Dashes (-) and underscores (_) are perfectly fine
  3. When creating the hotsheet, make sure you’ve selected a saved search. The hotsheet won't work with out an associated search
  4. Watch for extra spaces before or after the name- it will break
  5. If you're getting Error: Request failed with status code 500refresh the page and/or clear your cache. You can also try logging out and back in and trying again
